We have recently learned that our shipmate "EMCS(SW) DENNIS J. KULAWINSKI" weighed anchor for his final voyage on the 24th of September 1997.

The Mess would like to invite any and all retired CPO's who served aboard Nimitz to send us news worthy items to be included in this page.

"New Years Eve 1999"
What are your plans for "New Years Eve"? This year's celebration promises to be special with the start of a new century and the year leading into the New Millenium.
What better way to celebrate than to spend the night with friends and those you love! Come and join us at a Decemeber Camp Out at the Elk's Lodge in East Bremerton. Dinning and dancing at the Elk's and then a short walk to your RV for a restful night before going home on the first day of a new century!(All RV spaces have been taken and there are no tickets left for the New Year's Eve Party)

Pig Roast 1999This years Pig Roast was another smashing sucess. As usual Ed and Penny put this event on with their usual North West aplomb and hospitality. Elvis (the main course) was delicious and succulent. Ed ( the new "Hot Dog King of the Kitsap Peninsula) got to show off his new Hot Dog Cart at the festivities. Penny unfortunately could not be there as she had to attend to family business. You were missed Penny! Christmas Party 1999
Mark your calendar! Our Nimitz Group is having it's second annual Christmas Party at the Elk's Club in Bremerton.
